A Novel Optimization Method for a Multi-Year Planning Scheme of an Active Distribution Network in a Large Planning Zone

Electric power distribution networks plays a significant role in providing continuous electrical energy to different categories of customers. In the context present advancements, future load expansion active (ADNs) poses key challenge planning be derived as multi-stage optimization task, including optimal scheme (EPSO). The is multi-attribute decision-making issue with high complexity and solving difficulty, especially when it involves large-scale zone. This paper proposes novel approach multi-year for effective solution EPSO problem large zones. proposed comprises three parts, where first part covers two essential aspects, i.e., (i) suggesting project condition set that considers elements directly related group specific conditions requirements (collectively referred conditions) ADN projects; (ii) Developing scoring system evaluate projects. second our quantization method correlativity among projects based on new concepts: contribution index (CI) dependence (DI). Finally, considering rolling optimization, detailed mathematical model evaluation spatiotemporal sequencing developed, are updated annually. has been successfully validated practical network located Xiantao, China. investigated case study comparisons verify various advantages, suitability, effectiveness scheme, consequently saving more than 10% investment compared existing implemented scheme.
